This page is ment especially for members of the international Dzogchen Community, an organization of people interested in the preservation, practice and study of the Dzogchen teachings under the spiritual guidance of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche.

The soundfiles are now available in Streaming Audio Shockwave format for 28k8 and 14k4 modems (only 90 resp. 50 kb!) - so you don't need all that extra software download anymore: the Shockwave plugin alone will do!

To view the movie above, you'll need the Shockwave plugin by Macromedia.

In order to hear His Holiness sing the mantras of Padmasambhava and Avalokiteshvara in full stereo and HiFi quality, you will need the Quicktime plugin, Quicktime 4 installed (Mac) (available both for the Mac and Windows platform. Quicktime offers the best sound and video quality on the Web today. The Quicktime movies are in stereo. Also the soundfiles have been put in .mp2 format for those of you who can directly access MPEG. The Shockwave streaming audiofiles are in mono and resp. 16 and 8 kb/s. They are extremely small (90 resp. 50 kb). You only need the Shockwave plugin to listen to them!

In general you will need a sufficient capable machine (PowerMac, PowerPC with Intel processor) with enough internal memory and enough speed. Give Netscape or Explorer sufficient RAM memory! Otherwise you may experience computer crashes. Also, to be able to hear the soundfiles you will need a soundcard (PC). You should be able to convert .MIDI files on your computer. The standard LiveAudio plugin with Netscape or Explorer will do the rest!
